// Why_VANROCK

5 reasons to use VANROCK's Soil Stabilization System

VANROCK Soil Stabilization System is the only slurry based stabilization system in the world for rapid, efficient and environmentally safe solidification.

The VANROCK Soil Stabilization system is meticulously engineered with optimal production capacity in focus. It boasts the capability to efficiently process up to 1600 cubic meters per day.

// How_It_Works

Operating dynamics

VANROCK Soil Stabilization System achieves solidification and remediation through controlled physical and chemical reactions between the solidifying agent and soft soil — from hopper to compacted, road-ready ground.

VANROCK Soil Stabilization System operating dynamics — power mixer, control center and storage binSmart displayPower mixerControl centreStorage hopperMaximum depth 10 mPeat, mud, sludge, soft clay before solidifyingAfter the peat, mud, sludge and soft clay are solidified, a stable foundation with bearing capacity is formed

01

Storage hopper

The hopper contains the solidifying agent — such as lime and cement — ready to be drawn into the system on demand.

02

Control centre

The control centre meticulously mixes and stirs the solidifying agent according to predetermined proportions, then delivers it to the power mixer at the forefront of the excavator, maintaining precise pressure and flow rates throughout.

03

Power mixer

The power mixer blends the solidifying agent with the soft soil at controlled rotation speeds and temperatures, effectively immobilizing a significant amount of free water within the soil as crystalline water.

04

Reaction & compaction

Physical and chemical reactions alter the soil's engineering properties — particle agglomeration, increased electrolyte concentration and volumetric expansion fill the soil pores. Through compaction, overall structural integrity is achieved, making the solidified soil easy to compact and stable.

The result

A level of compactness unattainable by conventional methods — enhanced strength and shear strength, meeting the technical requirements for road construction.

VANROCK Power Mixer

A hydraulic mixer attachment for conventional excavators — homogenizing clay, silt, peat, sludge, dredged sediment and contaminated materials with even distribution of wet or dry binders. Built for stabilization, solidification and remediation, it enhances load-bearing capacity and stability of any soil type.
