For a 40 ton excavator, the correct model is usually VR-RP 40. Its suitable carrier range is 36–43 Tons, with an operating weight of 4950 kg.

That model uses 240–300 LPM oil flow at 210–250 bar, with a 280 bar relief setting pressure. Frequency is 2,242–2,803 bpm. If your carrier is closer to 36 tons or 43 tons, it still stays within the stated range.

If your excavator is outside that class, the range steps are:
- VR-RP 30: 28–34 Tons
- VR-RP 40: 36–43 Tons
- VR-RP 50: 46–60 Tons

The cleanest way to choose is to match the excavator tonnage first, then confirm the hydraulic flow and pressure fall inside the model requirement.
