What wear parts should I expect to replace on a static pulverizer on site?
The main on-site wear parts are the teeth on VR-PR models and the cutting blades. VR-PR models use replaceable teeth made by a special casting method, and those teeth can be swapped on site to reduce downtime and maintenance cost.
Across both tooth types, the cutting blades are interchangeable and reversible, so the body is not the wear part in that area. On VR-PW models, the teeth are welded to the jaw, so wear renewal is done by welding rather than swapping teeth.
If easy on-site wear renewal is important, the replaceable-tooth VR-PR concept is the direct fit. If minimum attachment weight and price are the priority, the welded-tooth VR-PW concept is the lighter and simpler choice.
