Check three basics first: excavator class, hydraulic capacity, and attachment size. The model must fit the excavator tonnage range and the carrier must supply the required oil flow at 300 bar.

Then confirm the attachment weight and overall dimensions:
- VR-SG 15: 1,974 kg, 1,247 × 1,009 × 2,486 mm
- VR-SG 25: 2,820 kg, 1,510 × 1,039 × 2,765 mm
- VR-SG 30: 3,300 kg, 1,534 × 1,039 × 2,886 mm
- VR-SG 40: 3,800 kg, 1,750 × 1,039 × 3,070 mm

If you will drive round piles, also check that the correct round clamp is fitted. If you will drive sheet piles or H-beams, use the standard clamp.
