What pile sections and sizes can this side grip drive?
The W type is made for sheet piles, H-beams and I-H beams. The sizing guide in the VANROCK specification states sheet piles up to 1,200 mm wide and H-beams up to 180 × 500 mm.
The clamp opening data is the same on both models:
- Side clamp opening: 255 mm
- Bottom jaw opening: 65 mm
- Rotation: 360°
- Tilt: ±30°
Model choice is then based on excavator size, pile length and pile weight. VR-SG 25W covers 17–26 Tons excavators, and VR-SG 30W covers 22–36 Tons excavators. If you are matching to a specific section, confirm both the pile profile and the excavator hydraulic capacity against those model limits.
