What jobs is this side grip built for besides open piling?
It is built for sites where access or headroom is limited. The listed application situations are sea side, river side, low-headroom sites and confined spaces.
The reason is the side-grip layout. The attachment picks up, positions and drives the pile from the side, so the excavator operator can handle the full cycle from the cab. It also uses a 360° hydraulic revolving adapter and ±30° tilt, which helps when the machine cannot approach the pile in a straight, open working area. VANROCK specifies no auxiliary extended arm and no ground crew, which is why these restricted jobs are a core application for this range.
