How does the side grip position piles in tight corners accurately?
It uses 360° rotation, ±30° hydraulic tilt, and 360° swivel rotatable grip pads. That combination lets the operator pick the pile off the ground, rotate it, tilt it, and line it up from the cab.
The grip pads are specifically described as precise and accurate even in corner positions and on rough or uneven surfaces. That is important on confined-space and low-headroom work where pile alignment is harder. VANROCK specifies accurate clamping helps avoid gripping errors that can lead to cracks in the clamping cylinder and arms. In short, the positioning accuracy comes from the rotating adapter, the tilt function, and the swivel grip pads working together.
