The key selection points are carrier operating weight, hydraulic flow and pressure, required output size, material moisture, contamination level, and your target production rate. Then look at bucket width, shaft type, blade or disc spacing, wear protection, drive layout, and service access. If you screen topsoil or compost, you may want a different shaft spacing than for demolition fines or reclaimed asphalt. For sticky material, shaft design and cleaning action are especially important. Also confirm coupler dimensions, hose connections, drain line requirements, and whether your machine has enough lifting capacity when the bucket is loaded. A larger bucket is not always better if hydraulics cannot drive it efficiently.
