Choose by excavator class first, then by the force and opening you need. Size 20 models are for 19–26 ton excavators. Size 30 models are for 26–32 ton excavators.

Size 30 gives higher force and larger cylinder size. Force at jaw root C is 170 ton across the size 20 range and 217 ton across the size 30 range. Cylinder size is Ø200 mm on size 20 and Ø225 mm on size 30. Oil flow also steps up from 200–250 LPM to 250–320 LPM.

If you also need more opening, compare the exact jaw model. For example, the pulverizer opening is 880 mm on VR-1P 20 and 910 mm on VR-1P 30.
